Whether in business or in life, I enjoy listening to people who help me think about and see things in a different frame of mind. We’re all sheltered in some way. We don’t know everything; we haven’t seen everything. It takes multiple, diverse views to find well rounded answers.
Different experiences; different points of view and seeing things from the shoes of others is a powerful force. Those differences and perspectives can help us all understand each other better as human beings.
Find those different points of view: It’s something I need to work on myself, going out and finding those diverse opinions and ideas to help me be a better business owner and person.
Mellody Hobson made me think today. She motivated me to be better than I was yesterday. To me, that’s a value add.
