I’m still trying to find a voice. And maybe I’m just overthinking it. Sometimes when I read other blogs I tend to find things and try to emulate what they’re doing because it seems to work and I enjoy it. I think of it like a song writer or artist borrowing from their hero’s and peers as they find and create their own craft.
Daring Fireball’s The Talk Show Podcast had Jason Kottke on the show this week. I’m always fascinated listening to early internet stories, especially from people who were creating sites and working each day to help build the internet.
Kottke.org started his blog in 1998 and is celebrating 20 years.
A very interesting conversation.
