I’ve been working to cut back on caffeine…my head is KILLING me!
I’m still trying to find that melody on a daily basis. One thing I love to do is read and learn as much as I can. Sometimes what I’m finding and consuming is beneficial, sometimes not. Depends on my moods I guess.
Here’s a few interesting things I came upon over the last few days.
Full stream ahaead!! …..Seems my favorite service Spotify is bringing back the music biz. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I downloaded a song or bought a compact disc. Interestingly, CD sales were higher than downloads.
Awkwardly Hilarious! …….Ricky Gervais Meets Garry Shandling
The Game of Life….There are pretty amazing people out there developing some pretty impressive and fascinating things. Techniques and devices that can, first and foremost, save lives, but can also save money are always the most amazing to me.
Body Efficiency….I hate LeBron James because he’s not a Celtic!! And I hated Michael Jordan because he never played for Boston! Hate is a strong term and I never “hated” them, I just wanted them crushing it on my team. We never like the exceptional players when they aren’t “ours”. And they are hated because of how impressive they actually are when they’re not on the teams we love. LeBron James is a marvel on the basketball floor. It’s no wonder how and why that is when the more I read about him, the more I see how much time and effort he attributes to his craft. The man is a dynamo! (Granted, he has the capital to have the best of everything he needs. But either way, he still has to put the time in). You have to do the work if you want to be any kind of success in anything you do.
Feeling Like a Kid Again…I will be vigilantly going through my old baseball cards over the next few days looking for gems.
Side Note: I will be checking out the value of Pokemon cards as well.
My new jam for the week….Houndmouth. They have been around for a few years. You may have heard their hit song Sedona, which I like, but not as much as some of the other deep tracks. Since diving into their couple albums over the last few weeks I have been pleasantly surprised.
